- Operate and maintain state-of-the-art sheet metal equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
- Set up and adjust machines to produce high-quality sheet metal parts
- Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are met
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues
- Collaborate with and lead team members to improve production processes and efficiency
- Perform material handling of raw metal sheets and finished product with attention to detail.
- Complete all necessary forms including but not limited to non-conforming, part shortage, documentation, and engineering changes.
- Collaborate with, support, and suggest opportunities to engineers and programmers to reduce cycle time, material waste, and increase quality in the fabrication department.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- High school diploma or equivalent. Metal Fabrication courses a plus.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication (Trumpf) such as laser, punch, panel bender and/or press brake equipment a plus
- Desire to grow in expertise and be the point person in the facility
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
