    Role Overview

    We are currently looking for a Sr. React Native Developer to join our Envase Mobile Development Team. Envase Technologies was acquired by WiseTech Global in January of 2023, and is a leading provider of transport management system software for intermodal trucking, drayage and landslide logistics. In this role, you will work with a team to develop a mobile application that will be used by intermodal carriers to dispatch and communicate with truck drivers across North America, and more.

    To succeed in this role, you will need to be able to accomplish daily tasks on time with a high bar for quality. Collaborate with other developers and cross-functional teams in order to hit timely goals. Our ideal candidate will have at least 3+ years of hand on experience with React Native, a strong background in front-end development, and a passion for creating mobile apps with a high standard of quality.

    The Tech

    • 3+ years React Native experience.
    • Proficiency in using design systems, particularly experience with React Native Paper or similar frameworks.
    • Strong knowledge of JavaScript, with experience in TypeScript preferred.
    • Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, or other similar tools.

    Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with a team of developers, QA, and product specialists to design and create high quality features for regular releases of the app.
    • Working with cross-functional teams to integrate the app with other services
    • Write unit and integration tests using Jest
    • Optimize applications for performance and scalability.
    • Contribute to code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices.
    • Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate front-end components with server-side logic.
