California.
What you will be doing:
Providing exceptional senior-level HR support and guidance to our clients (often the CEO, COO, or Founder).
We deliver in all areas of the employee life cycle, acting as an extension of their in-house team to help with onboarding, benefits management, payroll, leave management and employee exiting.
This role will handle day-to-day HR Management for our clients, from benefits/payroll administration, processing leave requests, new hire onboarding, and employee terminations or offboarding.
There may also be some project-based work like HR Audits or Investigations, updating policies to support the changing organizational needs.
HR is complex, and our clients often have remote employees in various states, so youll need to stay current on the latest practices to ensure compliance with various state and federal employment laws.
Supporting the growth of Hire Ventures and our internal team; participating in team meetings as well as collaborating with other members of the team in a virtual capacity.
Telling the Hire Ventures story via LinkedIn and other social platforms to strengthen the Hire Ventures brand.To be considered you must have the following:
This position is a remote, contract position with the possibility of going full-time.
Ideally, a Bachelors degree in Business, Human Resources, or relevant and equivalent experience
HR Certification is a plus - PHRca or similiar a ++.
Must have experience working with California State employment regulations.
Must have 5+ years of progressive and relevant HR experience
Demonstrated ability to work independently, be motivated, articulate and make sound decisions under the position guidelines - in a positive, results-driven and forward-thinking manner.
Additionally, the ideal candidate will have the following:
Ability to communicate with a variety of people in a polite and professional manner, with a high attention to detail.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills, business writing knowledge a plus.Must be coachable, collaborative and have a growth mindset.
