Job Summary:

The experienced finisher will finish custom architectural millwork products for our commercial construction related projects. A successful finisher should have advanced woodworking skills, knowledge of finishing techniques, and a strong attention to detail.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Prepare surfaces for finishing by sanding, filling imperfections, and ensuring a smooth and even surface.
  • Application of paints and stains by hand or using a spray gun, all while maintaining a high level of quality per customer specifications.
  • Inspecting product prior to completion to ensure we catch any flaws before the completed product leaves the shop.
  • Experience with mixing and matching colors and stains.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • 3+ years' experience working in finishing, millwork, and/or carpentry.
  • Experience working in a wood shop.
  • Experience with the use and mixing of paints and stains.
  • Skilled in the use of sprayers and other hand tools.
