CalPERS seeks a Staff Services Manager I (SSMI) to lead the Health Plan Performance & Compliance team in the Health Plan Administration section, Health Policy Research & Administration Division.


The Health Plan Administration section oversees the contract management functions, including plan development, performance, and compliance for Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) plans, Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) plans, Medicare Advantage Plans, Medicare Supplement Plans and Pharmacy Benefits Manager (PBM), and provides oversight to three association plans.


Under the general direction of the Contracts Chief, the SSMI will serve as the Health Plan Performance and Compliance team supervisor and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the compliance program.

The incumbent will assist in the development of the the health plan review process, including determining an annual health plan review schedule and creating processes and reporting tools to work with our contracting plans.
