***: The role of Director, Digital Product is a critical position within the Product team which serves as a bridge to our partners in Marketing, as well as to our external partner ecosystem. They are the strategic product leader for multiple product teams and are responsible for a particular portfolio of products or platforms. This individual is an evangelist for digital experiences within Ulta and the role calls for a high degree of dexterity in working with a wide range of stakeholders.


This individual is a highly proficient business and technical resource who collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive enhancements to, and the creation of new, digital products and capabilities.

This incumbent will have a passion to discover & evaluate innovative digital solutions, drive the process to experiment with new digital solutions in order to gain key insights, and be able to analyze the output of those experiments to determine potential viability for a larger scale implementation with the organization.

They will also directly manage & mentor other resources within Product team.


CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Serve as a main digital business liaison with existing (and potential) strategic vendor partners to understand (and influence) roadmaps to aid our digital experiences
  • Manage a team of multiple Product Managers, Product Owners & Product Analysts jointly focused on the product roadmap and delivery for the digital guest journey within our native apps
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to build a shared digital vision across the enterprise by building a product roadmap which will align with both the gotomarket strategy for the company & with business program leadership
  • Partner with Technology & Product leadership to align on goals, metrics, and success criteria for new and existing experiences Advise on significant digital innovations which could improve existing business capabilities & experiences or accelerate the creation of new capabilities & experiences

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the Digital Product lead for the crossfunctional Digital Vision Team which combines resources from Design, Product, & Technology to analyze, evaluate, & plan future highimpact, highcomplexity product deliverables
  • Stay informed of consumer, technology, and digital commerce trends in order to identify new markets and inform future strategy and prioritization in order to drive incremental sales & increase guest satisfaction
  • Serve as an advocate and thought leader for technology and product within the company, while championing a culture of continuous improvement
  • Build, grow and support Product Managers, Product Owners and Product Analysts through hiring, coaching (Knowledge Transfer), mentoring, and giving feedback Drive products to achieve success metrics on an ongoing basis throughout the product lifecycle by analyzing and solving the problems of your targeted end users

REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of digital technology or digital product leadership experience
  • Demonstrated passion for, and the ability to drive, innovation & emerging digital tech
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly in order to understand our rapidly evolving product, business, intellectual property, and guest needs
  • Experience successfully creating and executing against product visions, strategies, and roadmaps that achieve goals and outcomes
  • Experience evaluating technology solutions for fit and viability against use cases, as well as evaluating the companies for viability
  • Exceptional at working with and analyzing user metrics and turning them into actionable insights, including the use of A/B testing and analytics platforms.
  • Ability to think both strategically and tactically while being equally comfortable with long term planning and daytoday progress tracking and execution
  • Demonstrated experience in collaborating and communicating with technical and nontechnical stakeholders across all levels.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication
