    About the Position:

    Join us as a Long Term Care Claims Representative specializing in Payment Servicing. The role is open to residents of Virginia in Lynchburg or Richmond office locations, as well as remote applicants residing in select states/locations.

    Your Role:

    As a member of the Operations team, you will have a pivotal role in delivering top-notch customer service and solutions to our policyholders. In the evolving landscape of Long Term Care Claims, you will be at the forefront of change, supporting customers through efficient and informed claims processing. Collaborating with various teams, you will ensure a seamless and exceptional claims experience for our customers.

    Responsibilities Include:

    • Coordinate inbound and outbound calls to enhance customer interactions.
    • Manage work queues and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ensure claims handling adheres to policies, guidelines, and compliance standards.
    • Make informed decisions based on experience and judgment in complex situations.
    • Collaborate with teams to address challenges and achieve common objectives.
    • Provide support and guidance to facilitate team growth and understanding.
    • Share insights and best practices within the organization to enhance operations.
    • Process claim transactions and make decisions based on policy terms and information provided.

    What We Look For:

    • Strong communication skills and ability to interpret complex information.
    • Proficiency in critical thinking, conflict resolution, and collaboration.
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and multitasking capabilities.
    • Bachelor's or associate degree preferred; experience in insurance industry a plus.

    Additional Details:

    The salary for this role ranges from $42,300 to $63,700, with additional incentive opportunities based on performance. The final salary determination considers factors such as location, experience, and qualifications to ensure equity within the organization.
