    Description

    Control Engineers is a leading engineering firm specializing in industrial automation and control systems. Our cutting-edge solutions power factories, plants, and facilities across diverse industries. As we continue to grow, we're seeking a skilled Control Panel Technician to join our team.

    Position: Control Panel Technician

    Responsibilities:


    • Control Panel Assembly:

    Assemble electrical control panels based on engineering schematics and specifications.

    Wire components, install relays, switches, and circuit breakers.

    Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality control.


    • Testing and Troubleshooting:

    Conduct functional testing of control panels.

    Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to wiring, connections, and components.

    Collaborate with engineers to resolve technical challenges.


    • Documentation:

    Maintain accurate records of panel assembly, modifications, and repairs.

    Create wiring diagrams and documentation for each panel.


    • Quality Assurance:

    Perform quality checks to ensure panels meet performance criteria.

    Inspect workmanship and adherence to standards.


    • Inventory Management:

    Manage inventory of panel components and materials.

    Coordinate with procurement for timely restocking.


    • Safety and Compliance:

    Follow safety protocols and guidelines.

    Adhere to industry regulations and best practices.

    Qualifications:


    • Education:

    High school diploma or equivalent.

    Technical certification in electrical or electronics preferred.


    • Experience:

    Minimum 2 years of experience in control panel assembly.

    Familiarity with industrial automation components.


    • Skills:

    Proficiency in reading electrical schematics.

    Strong attention to detail.

    Ability to use hand and power tools.

    Basic knowledge of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers).
