Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and analytical individual to join our team as a Personal Lines Rating Specialist.
This role is ideal for individuals with a strong problem solving and task management skills along with a passion for accuracy and efficiency.
As a Rating Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring that insurance policies are accurately priced and rated in accordance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:

Policy Rating: Utilize rating software and underwriting guidelines to accurately rate personal lines insurance policies, including auto, home, umbrella and specialty lines coverages.

Data Analysis: Analyze policy information, including coverage limits, deductibles, and underwriting factors, to determine appropriate premium calculations.

Rate Development: Stay informed about industry rating trends, regulatory changes, and competitor offerings to inform the development of competitive rate structures.

Policy Issuance: Generate policy documents and endorsements accurately reflecting the calculated premiums and coverage details.

Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks on rated policies to ensure accuracy and compliance with underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Collaboration: Work closely with underwriters, agents, and other stakeholders to resolve rating-related inquiries and ensure timely policy issuance.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies in the rating and policy issuance workflow.
Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

$45, $60,000.00 per year
