Performs responsible, specialized duties within a unit of a department. Responsibilities include activities which require knowledge of departmental procedures. Employee performance is based upon a review of completed work and overall results obtained. May supervise clerical employees.

Major/Essential FunctionsResponsible for providing and maintaining interior plants for all contracted departments. Assists in the coordination of the annual programs and events. Including the campus plant maintenance program.
Responsible for billing, estimating costs for accounts, recommendations of plant materials to utilize, and maintaining greenhouse.
Maintains a professional and personal appearance. Performs related work as required.
Required Qualifications
High school plus 3 years experience. Additional education may substitute for experience on a year for year basis.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to learn practices; materials; tools and machines used for propagating; growing and caring for indoor plants and flowers.
Previous nursery or greenhouse experience High school graduate.
