    Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis - Hybrid

    Primary Purpose

    Supports Controller by preparing corporate budgets and forecasts, providing analysis, and operationalizing the reporting of financial metrics and financial performance objectives across the organization.

    Responsibilities:
    • Enhances the corporate budget process and model to ensure annual plans and forecasts accurately capture costs across all verticals and functional areas
    • Works with leaders throughout the organization to develop budgets that support corporate growth and manage costs in a competitive environment
    • Ensures final budgets are entered in the ERP and reports are issued to allow leaders across the organization to manage their budgets and be held accountable
    • Presents financial performance data to leaders in the organization and works with the Project Management Office and Project Financial Control groups to ensure estimates-to-complete are based on accurately forecasted indirect rates.
    • Assists with month-end activities to ensure financial reporting deadlines are met
    • Assists with comparative financial statement preparation (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Statement of Cash Flows) and analysis of the results
    • Supports integration of affiliate entities into Emmes financial reporting
    • Ensures intercompany balances between Emmes and its affiliates are reconciled
    • Leads or assists with ad-hoc assignments and analysis as needed
    • Promote a high-quality customer experience for both internal and external clients
    • Other duties as assigned
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required with at least 5 years of relevant experience
    • Experience working in a Federal Government Contracting environment required
    • Experience with Deltek Costpoint and Time & Expense preferred
    • Self-starter and detail-oriented
    • Demonstrated advanced MS Excel usage
    • Excellent organizational, time management, and analytical skills
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
