Job Description
The Clinical Psychologist provides an advanced level of clinical mental health services in both individual and group settings. Primary duties include crisis intervention, assessment and diagnosis, short-term stabilization, psychotherapy, psychological testing, evaluations, and consultations. Clinical supervision, educational presentations about clinical topics, and research activities may also be provided. Services are based on sound theoretical principles, with knowledge of the special issues and needs of the population served.
The incumbent develops strategies for the services provided to meet the multifaceted needs of a diverse population, with attention to the policies and procedures of TMC-BH, and is expected to interface with internal and external service providers.
