    Description

    Exciting Opportunity for CNC Set-Up Position at Growing Company

    Are you a CNC Set Up professional seeking a fresh challenge with a rapidly expanding company that offers a fantastic work environment and excellent benefits? This could be the perfect role for you.

    • Set-up and operate CNC machines based on blueprints, specifications, and work instructions.
    • Conduct first piece inspection with the quality and manufacturing engineering teams.
    • Edit existing programs using EIA, G-Code, and make adjustments to optimize efficiency.
    • Monitor machining process to adjust speeds and feeds for program optimization.
    • Select appropriate materials and tooling for the job.
    • Ensure CNC programs are accurate and complete, making revisions for efficiency.
    • Verify part conformity with specifications during and after production.
    • Troubleshoot and rectify machine operations and programming issues to enhance product quality.
    • Utilize production scheduling data to maintain workflow and support team productivity.
    • Record production activities accurately using a data collection system.
    • Perform routine maintenance tasks and specific PM schedules for each machine.
    • Provide training to junior CNC Operators as necessary.
    • Maintain 5S standards in machine areas.
    • Perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks if time allows.
