Interested in making $15 to $20 per hour?

This is a great position to have as supplemental or part-time work You get to create your own schedule and choose which students you will take on

Responsibilities:

Be patient and understanding of the student's learning style.
Be able to identify areas of difficulty for the student and provide appropriate guidance.
Develop a personalized learning plan for each student.
Provide feedback on the student's progress.
Maintain a positive learning environment.

Potential tutors with CogniTutor must have:

Reliable transportation
Consistency with scheduling students

GPA above a

Great communication skills
Ability to navigate computers
Fluency in English language
Flexibility to work afternoons and evenings possibly mornings in some cases
Willingness to travel up to 40 miles (tutors are independent contractors so we do not reimburse for travel; instead, a higher hourly rate is paid for time with a student dependent on how far the drive is)
Availability to meet in students' homes
