    Job Description

    Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years pharmacy experience required.

    We are currently seeking a Temporary Retail Pharmacist to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment, serving our community with exceptional pharmaceutical care. If you are a licensed Pharmacist in the state of Colorado with retail pharmacy experience, we encourage you to apply.
    Schedule: Part-time, with the possibility of additional s/hours as needed.

    • Sun: 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
    • Mon & Tues: 8:00 am - 7:00 pm

    Job Duties:

    • Dispense medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
    • Provide patient counseling on medication usage, side effects, and adherence.
    • Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy and patient outcomes.
    • Process prescriptions and manage inventory to maintain adequate stock levels.
    • Handle insurance claims and billing inquiries.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy area.
    • Assist with other duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager.

    Requirements:

    • Active and clear Colorado pharmacist license.
    • Minimum of 1 year or more of recent retail pharmacy experience.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
    • Proficiency in pharmacy software systems and computer skills.
    • Flexibility to work the scheduled s/hours and potentially additional shifts as needed.
