Schedule, Benefits, & Compensation:


  • Location: Onsite in Washington, DC
  • First shift, Monday through Friday

Responsibilities:


  • Image/reimage of PCs/laptops
  • Update PCs/laptops when a new image has been created
  • Assign customers government assets using the Cherwell database
  • Encrypt flash/hard drives
  • Format regular flash drives, creating excel sheets for old/damaged/outdated assets
  • Utilize AirWatch to manage the Mobile devices (iPad & iPhone)
  • Creating admin passwords for the encrypted drives
  • Test keyboards, printers, and scanners
  • Remove hard drives from old/broken laptops that are being destroyed & are securely put into a bin for electronic disposal
  • Provide end user support and troubleshooting of software and hardware issues
  • Keep account on the stock of equipment, review and clean returned equipment considered usable for redistribution
  • Keep spreadsheet tracking all new rollout of new image to ensure smooth transition

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
  • Previous experience in a similar role providing IT support and troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Proficiency with imaging software and tools (e.g., SCCM, Ghost).
  • Strong knowledge of user administration processes and best practices.
  • Experience with hardware replacement and repair, including hard drives, memory, and peripherals.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to think creatively to resolve technical issues.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to nontechnical users.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
