The position responsibilities are:


  • Works with LPC Operations Manager and VP of Lending to make changes in our internal underwriting procedures and philosophies as needed.
  • Makes counteroffers when appropriate. Communicates decisions to branch and indirect representatives within service standard time frames.
  • Will make every effort to provide excellent service to our members through crossselling, which is the ability to identify and meet the needs of our members with a product or service available through ACU of Texas.
  • Understand the docprep and funding processes and procedures, and to be able to assist that team when needed.
  • Work with our indirect dealer representative to provide excellent service to our dealerships.
  • Have a competent working knowledge of our back end systems: Meridian Link, Symitar, CuneXus, Lender's Protection, etc.
  • Collaborate with various department managers on necessary projects.
  • Works "on call" weekends as scheduled.

Education/ Certifications/ Licenses
A high school diploma or GED is required.


Experience
Six months to two years of similar or related experience, including time spent in preparatory positions.


Interpersonal Skills
Courtesy and tact are essential elements of the job.

Work involves personal contact with customers and others inside and outside the organization, generally regarding fairly routine matters for the purposes of giving and obtaining inforamtion or instructions, updating or referring.

Communications generally require shorter and not in-depth discussions.
