**This is a freelance, REMOTE position.**

At TheGamer, we require writers who are driven to succeed, have a way with words, and keep up with what's trending in the gaming world.

TheGamer is looking for a candidate with extensive familiarity and knowledge about the RPG genre. The ideal candidate should both play and follow the surrounding and upcoming news regarding popular RPG's, including Baldur's Gate 3, Starfield, and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. In this role you will be responsible for researching and finding topics pertaining to the mentioned titles that would make worthwhile guides, and then writing those guide articles in a prompt manner.

Job Responsibilities:

We are looking for writers who can:

Contribute a minimum of 12-15 articles per month.
Pitch regular content and conduct proper research on the RPG genre and listed video games.
Be a dedicated and consistent contributor to the site.
Bring original topics and a plethora of gaming knowledge to the table.
Research and source their topics proficiently.
Work under tight deadlines and submit articles for publication on time.
Report to the Lead Editor and implement feedback efficiently.
Collaborate with the editorial team to produce exquisite content.
Ability to maintain a contracted freelance schedule.

Ability to source information/news from different websites.
Broad knowledge of gaming history and culture.
Experienced in SEO practices.

Availability to meet the required article quota.
