    Description

    Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse at TruHealth Integrated Care Family Medical Practice

    TruHealth Integrated Care Family Medical Practice is in search of a dependable Licensed Practical Nurse to provide patient care in a professional manner. You will be working under the guidance of a doctor, physician assistant, or nurse practitioner. LPN professionals need to be qualified and compassionate individuals. The ideal candidate should have experience in offering various basic care to patients while maintaining a patient and composed demeanor. While it can be a challenging role, it is also highly fulfilling.


    Responsibilities:
    • Accurately document a patient's medical history
    • Measure and record vital signs like blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate
    • Monitor patients undergoing treatment to track progress and medication side effects
    • Administer injections, prescribed medications, wound care, and assist with basic medical procedures
    • Gather samples for lab tests as required
    • Interact with the patient's family or friends to offer guidance, support, and discharge instructions

    Skills:
    • Prior experience as an LPN, preferably in a clinical environment
    • Capable of handling diverse care responsibilities within a multidisciplinary team
    • Familiarity with healthcare regulations, safety protocols, and sanitation procedures
    • Understanding of confidentiality guidelines and nursing best practices
    • Thorough knowledge of medical terminology and hospital procedures
    • Proficiency in MS Office and data entry tasks
    • Skilled in communication, both verbal and written
    • Compassionate with the ability to manage stressful situations
    • Completion of an LPN license program is mandatory

    Job Type: Full-time

    Salary: $22.00 per hour
