We are searching for someone who shares the same passion and mission to join our dynamic team as the
Undergraduate Studies Coordinator for the
Department of Economics.

  • Provide administrative support to the Director of Undergraduate Studies (DUS) and the undergraduate programs
  • Enter course schedules and coordinate changes with the Registrar's Office
  • Monitor and assist with registration, including processing eForms, helping to resolve courserelated issues, administering crosslistings, and assisting with room and schedule changes
  • Coordinate and assist with various events for undergraduates, including the graduation ceremony and reception
  • Collect syllabi and course descriptions from instructors
  • Update the undergraduate website as needed
  • Verify graduation list of economics majors, ECON honors, and concentration
  • Manage and maintain departmental room reservations, supply inventory, office equipment, and bulletin boards
  • Collaborate with the other department staff as a team to support the overall needs of the department Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:


Education & Experience:


  • High school diploma or GED
  • 12 years of administrative experience

Skills:


  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to respond to multiple tasks and questions with frequent interruptions
  • Must be selfmotivated, take initiative, be able to prioritize tasks, and learn quickly
  • Must be able to maintain the confidentiality of student files and departmental issues
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities
