Our client is an internationally successful and innovative technology company with a focus on automation, digitalization in industry, infrastructure for buildings, decentralized energy systems, mobility solutions for rail and road traffic, and medical technology.

We are looking for you as a Purchaser (m/f/d) for this interesting and attractive employer.

Tasks:

Assuming the role of Project Procurement Manager (m/f/d) for tactical purchasing activities, in particular for the request, tendering, commercial clarification and negotiation of components and trades
Conducting negotiations with national and international suppliers in German and English
Preparing award decisions and sourcing boards and conducting them in close coordination with internal interfaces
Analysis of the global procurement market with regard to market developments, supplier and material availability, technology innovations and prices
Conducting efficient supplier and risk management

Qualifications:

Completed university degree in business engineering or mechanical engineering
Several years of professional and preferably project management experience, ideally in various functions of purchasing
Proficient in MS Office and SAP R/3
Very good German and English language skills in spoken and written form
Willingness to travel, assertiveness and communication
