Description of the Practice: Insight Care is a small, woman-owned, private practice located in Kensington, MD. Our mission is to offer quality, affordable, evidence-based treatment with the flexibility that allows for a healthy work-life balance. Since 2016, Insight Care has been journeying with adult patients in their recovery from PTSD, childhood abuse histories, anxiety and depressive disorders, and relational issues. While we see patients of all faith backgrounds, we also value the opportunity to provide Christian faith-based care to clients who desire this approach. Providers in the practice have sought training and are always staying up-to-date with best ethical practices for faith integration. We believe that genuine, caring therapeutic relationships combined with tailored evidence-based practices are imperative to healing. We also believe that this can only be done effectively when we are able to balance our own needs as practitioners. We also aim to provide affordable care and are in network with insurance panels - our patients are often expressing sincere gratitude for the opportunity to obtain quality care within their insurance coverage. Responsibilities: - Provide individual therapy sessions to patients - Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs and goals - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations - Stay informed about the latest research and developments in the field of psychology

Requirements: - Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited institution - Valid state license to practice as a psychologist - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient care and collaboration with team members - Ability to provide effective care for patients with complex diagnostic needs (complex trauma, PTSD, multiple comorbidities) as this is a common referral need - Experience with evidence-based trauma therapies (CPT, PE, EMDR) is strongly preferred - Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
