Job Summary:
As the Head Bartender, you will be responsible for managing the bar operations and leading a team of bartenders to deliver exceptional service to our guests.
You will oversee the creation and execution of beverage menus, manage inventory, train staff, and maintain a clean and organized bar area.
Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and guidance to the bar staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
Create and update beverage menus, including cocktails, wines, and other beverages, ensuring a balance of classic offerings and innovative creations.
Maintain accurate inventory levels of all bar supplies, including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and equipment. Place orders as needed to replenish stock.
Monitor the quality of beverages and enforce standards for presentation, taste, and portion size. Conduct regular tasting sessions with staff to ensure consistency.
Cost Control:
Monitor beverage costs and implement strategies to minimize waste and maximize profitability. Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Staff Training:
Train new bartenders on cocktail recipes, service standards, and procedures. Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for existing staff.
Work closely with the kitchen and restaurant management team to coordinate food and beverage offerings and ensure a seamless guest experience.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a bartender in a high-volume establishment, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Excellent customer service skills and a passion for hospitality.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management software.
Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
