JOB TITLE:
Quality Assurance Analyst


IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR:
Assistant Executive Director


Position Summary:


Quality Assurance Professionals are ultimately responsible for guaranteeing the quality of services using processes such as internal operations, work standards, and processes for company satisfaction and by inspecting, auditing, auditing documentation in accordance with HCBS & DBHDS.

In this role, you are a valued employee and will experience working in a collaborative environment that feels inviting. Day-to-day work involves careful audits and the enforcement of regulation standards.


It is very important that the Quality Control/Auditor personnel maintains a professional demeanor and appearance with customers, employees and providers.



Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Performs visual inspections on paperwork and audits on process, documentation, and/or personnel compared to the work standard for 100 individuals, 40 staff and 159 contactors and backup staff. May verify members have been audited to perform specific duties/locations.
  • Document, record, & report quality issues with paperwork and planning processes to promote following HCBS & DBHDS regulations.
  • Document and maintain data to determine HCBS DBHDS conformance/compliance requirements. May create charts, graphs, spreadsheets, reports, etc.
  • Monitor DBHDS Correction Action Plan (CAP) for compliance.
  • Monitor recommendations and implementation of Root Cause Analysis and Quality Improvement Correction Action Plan (CAP) for trends and systematic risk for the appropriate documentation.
  • Develop and implement standards for inspection/auditing to maintain DBHDS/HCBS regulation.
  • Communicate with other team members and appropriate personnel regarding documentation to solve problems.
  • Investigating / Interviewing Skills
  • Ability to analyze findings, identify the problem, and formulate solutions
  • Follow up with the appropriate channels when noncompliance to regulations are discovered
  • Train other Quality Assurance members on all inspection processes
  • Compiles inspection/audit data documentation for analysis and monitors HCBS/DBHDS process and regulation compliance
  • Assesses and verifies significance of audit data collected and documents HCBS/DBHDS compliance observations on inspection reports
  • Train Providers and Employees on systemic errors captured in audits and desk reviews
  • Become familiar with all the Regulations outlined by the following entities:

  • Provider constructive supervision with Sponsored Providers and Employees when systemic noncompliance is prevalent
  • Any additional duties requested by the supervisor
  • Travel to Richmond, VA as needed for auditing purposes at least once every quarter.
All task are completed with 90% accuracy.


Serenity C&C Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide a company vehicle for all travel expenses
  • Provide company phone for work related communication
  • Provide Hotel and Flight accommodations (if needed with Assistant Executive Director approval)
  • Provide Laptop

Schedule:


  • 8hour shift
  • Monday to Thursday 8a5p; Friday 8a3:30p
  • Occasional Weekend Availability (company events)

Qualification/Requirements:
Possess integrity and character to present a favorable example to all employees. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.


Education:


  • High school Diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor Degree (required)
  • 13 years of quality inspection or related experience preferred
  • Must be able to use MS Word, Excel, and any Data Entry software

Experience:


  • Quality Assurance/Auditing in accordance with regulations with paperwork or in office environment: 1 year (required)

COVID-19 considerations:

Pay:
$45, $55,000.00 per year
