We're looking for a senior-level Electrical Engineer to develop autonomous platforms while leading the manufacture and test of existing designs.
You will collaborate with a multi-disciplined team of engineers to ensure the system design meets system and subsystem requirements.What You'll DoArchitect, design, and develop next-generation robotic vehicles while supporting the manufacture and testing of existing designsWork closely with electrical, mechanical, and software teams to conceptualize, specify and implement electrical architectures for new product developments including multi-stage integrated robotics systems, automation products, and commercial productsGenerate design documentation such as schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly and cable drawingsResponsible for the system-level design of electrical systems for autonomous vehicles related to sensor integration, drive-by-wire, etcSpecify and select electrical components such as microcontrollers, servo drives, sensors, and safety systems for robotics and automation usesCapture electronics schematics and generate PCB designs for manufacturingPerform board bring-up activities including embedded firmware development and circuit validationWhat We're Looking ForBS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent in industry experience7+ years of electrical design experience in the robotics field with tightly coupled electrical, mechanical, and software components Highly competent in CAD tools including Altium, SolidWorks, or similar toolsSolid experience in one or more of the following: robotics, automation, embedded controls, high-speed differential signaling, microcontrollers, memory buses, power electronicsExperienced with ESD-safe practices and proceduresHighly skilled with testing and system integrationExpert technical knowledge and experience in schematic capture and PCB layout in analogue and digital circuit analysis and designReverse engineering skillsWhat Makes Neya UniqueSolve immediate and pressing real-world problems that advance the state-of-the-artWork with some of the smartest people in unmanned systemsGreat company cultureCompetitive salary and benefits including 401k, ESOP, and company-paid medical, dental, and life insuranceFlexible hours and working conditionsThis position requires the use of information that is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), Non-U.S.
