Job Description:
Our well-established dental office in Milford, CT, is seeking a friendly and organized Part-Time Front Desk Receptionist to join our team.
This position is perfect for someone who is self-motivated, has a positive 'Can-Do' attitude, and thrives in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the office
- Manage patient checkins and checkouts
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
- Maintain patient records and manage data entry
- Handle billing and insurance claims
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role, preferably in a dental or healthcare setting
- Familiarity with Dentrix dental management software is highly preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain a professional and positive demeanor
- Proficient in using office software and equipment
Working Hours:
- Saturday morning
- Tuesday afternoons
