The Information Technology Services Department has two vacancies for the Administrative Assistant I position.

These positions will assist the Management Services Division's Administrative team with contractor onboarding, badging, shopping cart creation, facilities, and fleet maintenance, and provide support for department divisions, as well as provide back-up support for the various responsibilities of the division.


Additional responsibilities include:

  • Process incoming requests to hire contract workers.
  • Manage the designated inbox for all contractor related items.
  • Perform other related responsibilities to ensure approved onboarding contractor workers obtain all identified positionrelated equipment needed (e.g., badges, VPN access, etc.).
  • Submit Travel Service Requests (TSR) via the SAP Graphical User Interface System.
  • Maintain operational manuals and procedures.
  • Submit Shopping Carts and maintain purchase orders in SRM.
  • Maintain records of issued devices.
  • Run monthly reports (i.e., badging, TSRs, telecom).
  • Serve as backup to the Secretary III and other admin staff as needed.

SALARY:


Pay Range:
$23.74 to $44.77/hour.


Hiring Range:
$23.74 to $36.84/hour.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:


  • One year of paraprofessional experience in governmental research and finance administration or paraprofessional experience aiding an administrative officer in technical and administrative problems and affairs.
  • Bachelor's degree in public or business administration or a related field.
  • Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:


The minimum qualifications listed above, plus:

  • Two years of experience in SAP and SRM.
  • Two years of experience maintaining operational reports.
  • One year of experience assisting with budgetary processes.
  • One year of experience providing administrative support to middle managers and above.
  • One year of experience managing work order requests.
