Clinical Technician 2
Inova Health System's Fairfax Hospital is looking for a
Clinical Technician 2 to join our Pediatric Med Surg Unit. This role is full-time, 3-12hr day/night shifts.

Responsibilities:

Provides direct care to patients whose care requirements are routine and standardized, with predictable outcomes, under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse
Effectively communicates with health team members, patients, and families; Communicates effectively and works cooperatively with others.
Assists unit leadership with overseeing other unit Clinical Technician education records.
Has respect for and an understanding of other clinical disciplines.
Maintains competencies and seeks opportunities to develop professionally.
Identifies own learning needs based on selfevaluation and the progress made from the previous year's goals.
Assumes responsibility for selfdevelopment in lifelong learning and seeks opportunities to further increase practice knowledge.
May perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Hours: full-time, 3-12hr day/night shifts.

Location: Fairfax Hospital

Experience:1 year of acute care experience as a Clinical Technician

Certification: Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association, within 3 months of hire

Education: High School diploma or equivalent
