Nurse Manager - Ambulatory Surgery .
This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced and driven RN to lead a team dedicated to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced outpatient surgical setting.
Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and direction for the Ambulatory Surgery department, overseeing daily operations and ensuring efficient workflow.
Manage nursing staff, including recruitment, hiring, performance evaluations, and staff development.
Foster a safe, patient-centered, and cost-effective environment for both patients and staff.
Ensure adherence to departmental policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and maintain high-quality surgical care protocols.
Oversee patient care delivery and staff competency within the department.
Lead and participate in unit and staff meetings.
Champion quality improvement initiatives and projects.
Develop and implement departmental budgets.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
Registered Nurse (RN) License (California) required at hire.
Minimum four (4) years of clinical nursing experience in an Ambulatory Surgery setting.
Minimum four (4) years of management, supervisory, or leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred), or Master's Degree in Nursing earned through a direct entry MSN program.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
