    Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.

    Calling on Speech-Language Pathologists based in the area of Sherman Oaks, CA, and who want to support students with Autism Soliant has partnered with a special school and is seeking a contract SLP for the uping year.

    The school serves students from ages 5-21, with varying degrees of munication needs. Therapists will be working with some high functioning students, as well as some non verbal students.

    Primary responsibilities as follows:

    • Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders, or who need support with social skills and pragmatics
    • Understand students' IEP goals, and propose a therapy plan to support those goals
    • Develop treatment plansand present them to parents, school administrators, and others involved with student evaluations.
    • Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns.
    • Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload.
    • Provide reports of a students progress to parents.
    • Develop resource materials for use in speech and language development.

    Requirements:
