    SESAC is looking for a Global Tax Compliance Coordinator to join our team in Nashville. In this role you will be responsible for managing assigned areas of tax operations and ensuring accuracy, quality, and effectiveness in reporting.

    What You Will Be Doing:

    • Managing the international and domestic tax filing and reporting calendar.
    • Acting as the primary contact with external tax preparers and overseeing the entire filing process.
    • Collaborating with accounting teams to promptly provide all requested information to external tax preparers, ensuring accurate and timely tax compliance.
    • Supporting external tax preparers in various tax filings and documentation, including FBAR and transfer pricing.
    • Compiling and submitting international, state, and local tax filings, encompassing tangible personal property, gross receipts, commercial rent, sales and use tax, among others.
    • Ensuring good standing in all necessary jurisdictions by submitting annual reports and completing census surveys.
    • Handling correspondence with the IRS and various states, resolving notices, and providing assistance in the event of audits.
    • Coordinating with external tax preparers and treasury teams to guarantee the timely execution of all tax payments.
    • Assisting external consultants by fulfilling information requests to ensure the prompt completion of quarterly and annual tax provisions.

    What Makes You Qualified:

    • CPA preferred.
    • 3+ years of experience in tax public accounting role preferred.
    • Experience with global and multi-state corporation tax returns.
    • Familiarity with complex global tax structure including corporations and partnerships.
    • Ability to work independently and to exercise initiative to define and resolve problems.
    • Familiarity with financial accounting statements systems (Oracle preferred).
    • Hands-on experience with accounting software and a willingness and ability to learn new systems as needed.
    • Strong ethical conduct and an ability to maintain confidentiality.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

    This is a hybrid role that will require you to commute to our Nashville office a minimum of three days a week.
