Friendly and outgoing lifeguards needed to fill summer positions in Queens, Brooklyn, The Bronx and Jersey City. Indoor and outdoor pools. Full time and part time positions are available. Must be at least 16 years old and have current lifeguard and CPR certifications. We can help you get certified if needed. Full training will be provided for each pool.Basic daily duties include (duties will differ by property):
- In uniform with whistle (provided to you)
- Maintain swimmer safety in the pool
- Brush, skim and vacuum pool as needed
- Test and record chemical levels in pool
- Maintain patron safety on pool deck
- Enforce all pool rules
- Maintain cleanliness of pool area
- Be confident working alone and in groups
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Pay:
$ $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- On call
- Weekends as needed
Experience:
- Lifeguard: 1 year (preferred)
License/Certification:
- Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid Certification (required)
Ability to Relocate:
- Brooklyn, NY: Relocate before starting work (required)
