FLS Transportation is seeking an Account Manager to develop and grow long-term relationships with our best customers. This role will oversee a portfolio of assigned accounts to continue to grow and develop.


Responsibilities will include:


  • Act as the main point of contact for critical customers becoming the "goto" person for service and communication
  • Provide regular shipping updates and maintain performance scorecard for each client
  • Identify new bid opportunities to maximize the potential of current accounts
  • Schedule quarterly business reviews with customers and the operations team relative to account performance
  • Work in collaboration with sales team to service and grow the account
  • Provide worldclass customer service to our clients

Qualifications:


  • 35 years of 3PL transportation experience.
  • Problemsolving and strong communication skills this industry lives and dies on solid communication between customers, shippers, receivers, and colleagues.
  • Sharp attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while juggling multiple accounts
  • High degree of integrity
  • Strong work ethic and burning desire to win are showcased through outworking the competition.
  • Proven ability to develop and grow existing accounts
  • Need to be a good teammate best exemplified through being positive, motivated, and encouraging in helping other teammates hit their goals
