Job Opportunity:

  • We're searching for a driven Associate Manufacturing Technician capable of performing diverse product assembly operations on product components, assemblies, or subassemblies to create vital laboratory equipment.
  • You'll ensure safe work practices, strive for top-notch product quality, and collaborate with colleagues to troubleshoot issues and promote continuous improvement in the factory.

Responsibilities

  • Select suitable components and assemble them in proper sequence as per specifications.
  • Inspect parts during subassembly and at key stages to maintain specified quality standards.
  • Utilize various hand tools like drills, pneumatic presses, and torque wrenches.
  • Enter product-related data into the internal system for tracking purposes.
  • Test assembled units, clean, and pack final products.
  • Read, document, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in setting up and using basic laboratory equipment.
  • Learn and excel in performing benchtop and chemistry analyzer testing.
  • Wear necessary personal protective equipment during specific tasks.
  • Collaborate with team members and Manufacturing Engineers to enhance product quality and quantity.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Educational background in Chemistry, Biology, or Biotechnology.
  • 1 year of work experience with an associate degree or higher.
  • Prior experience in lab or production work is a plus.
  • Ability to comprehend part numbers, labels, and work instructions.
  • Physical ability to handle small parts and lift up to 35 pounds occasionally.
  • Basic computer and keyboarding skills.

Physical/Environmental Demands:

  • Various physical activities like standing, bending, reaching, lifting, and more.
  • Close visual inspection, operation of machines, and assembly of parts.
  • Ability to exert force and perform occasional climbing or squatting.
