Operation Manager for Arizona. Pn - Phoenix, United States - ELITE BUILDING SERVICES
Description
The Operations Manager will be directly responsible for daily janitorial operations, customer satisfaction, account retention, and strong employee relations for multiple accounts.
You will also ensure services are provided in a cost-effective manner.This position plays a critical role in ensuring all cleaning staff stays on task and completes all assignments for client satisfaction.
To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of clients needs, company cleaning principles, running jobs cost-effectively and a teamwork mentality.
Essential Responsibilities include:
Employee-Related
- Manage a team of technicians and cleaners to achieve a high level of quality
- Recruit, select, onboard, train, assign, schedule, coach, counsel and discipline employees
- Train new technicians and cleaners on proper cleaning procedures
- Review and approve employee timesheets in EPAY for accurate payroll processing
Operations and Budget-Related
- Maintain and manage budget, control expenses for all managed operations, review job costs, and make necessary adjustments to meet budget compliance.
- Manage staff levels, wages, hours, contract labor to revenues
- Work closely with Director of Operations and Management team to set and/or implement operations policies, procedures and systems and to follow through with implementation.
- Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations
Client and Job-site related:
- Effectively communicate with onsite clients
- Serve as primary point of contact when there are customer issues related to equipment quality, customer service, or accidents and mishaps onsite. In particular, this includes any issues onsite at client facilities
- Communicate customer issues with operations team and devise ways of improving the customer experience, including resolving problems and complaints
- Organize and maintain supplies and working condition of cleaning equipment
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years related experience, (in the maintenance/cleaning industry), preferably at the supervisory level
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have a Valid Driver's License
- Must have a clean driving record and be insurable, including successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) to operate a company vehicle.
- Must be able to drive throughout the state of Arizona.
- Ability to work during the evening to visit cleaning teams and ensure they are all properly working their assignments
- Ability to work on a Laptop/iPad/Desktop with various programs, (ie, Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Company iPad and Company Mobile Phone Provided:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus
- Experience using a payroll and timekeeping software a plus
Education Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Must Be Authorized To Work In The US
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to regularly lift 15-25lbs, stand for long periods of time and travel to multiple sites each day as needed
NOTE:
Company Vehicle Provided and Gas Card
Salary:
$65,000.00 per year
