    Description

    Azure Data Architect – Texas – Remote

    We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Azure Data Architect to drive the migration of data infrastructure to the Azure platform. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing data solutions to support food and beverage industry operations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design and implement Azure Data solutions to store and manage large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
    • Develop SQL-based data models to support efficient data storage and retrieval.
    • Utilize Databricks for data engineering tasks such as data ingestion, transformation, and analysis.
    • Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation of data processing and management tasks.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design solutions that meet business needs.
    • Optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability.
    • Ensure data security and compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
    • Provide architectural guidance, focusing on the design discussions around data lake and data modeling to ensure alignment with project objectives.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience as a Data Architect or similar role, with a focus on cloud-based solutions.
    • Extensive experience with Azure Data Lake, SQL, Databricks, and PowerShell scripting.
    • Strong understanding of data modeling, database design, and data warehousing concepts.
    • Experience with migration of data infrastructure to the Azure cloud platform.
    • Solid understanding of the food and beverage industry and its data-related challenges.
    • Familiar with vendor management tools and integration
    • Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.
