    Department: Food and Nutrition

    Schedule/Status: Varies; Full Time

    Standard Hours/Week: 40

    General Description: Reporting to the Patient Services Manager and Food Service Supervisors, this role involves maintaining cleanliness in the department following specific protocols. Duties include sanitizing trays, dishware, utensils, pots, pans, and floors. The position also involves retrieving patient trays and adhering to the culture and philosophies of Parrish Healthcare.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Ensure cleanliness in the kitchen, dish room, and storage areas. Maintain supplies and equipment.
    • Clean and return kitchen items promptly. Set up and manage dishwashing station. Monitor soap and sanitizer levels.
    • Follow cleaning protocols, maintain a clean work area. Dispose of garbage and clean bins as needed.
    • Communicate effectively with team members and report any issues to management promptly. Assist coworkers and perform additional tasks as necessary.
    • Participate in daily meetings, maintain organized work areas, complete required documentation.
    • Follow safety procedures and regulations related to the work area.

    Requirements:

    Formal Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.

    Work Experience: 0 to < 1 year

    Required Licenses, Certifications, Registrations: NA
