Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Kitchen Team Member to join our team.

As a Kitchen Team Member, you will assist in food preparation, cooking, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment as well as oversee compliance with DOH and sanitary regulations.

This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic food service setting.


Duties:

• Assist in food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and marinating meats
• Cook menu items according to recipes and guidelines
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area
• Assist with dishwashing and cleaning of kitchen equipment
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
• Follow all food safety protocols and regulations
• Assist with inventory management and stock rotation

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Skills:

• Food service experience
• Ability to help with various tasks in the kitchen
• Knowledge of banquet or catering operations is a plus
• Familiarity with food preparation techniques and equipment
• Understanding of food safety regulations and practices
• Experience in the restaurant industry or as a cook is beneficial
