Currently, the Ophthalmology Department boasts 23 full-time and 20 part-time clinicians handling over 65,000 patient visits annually. They have a group of five research scientists with diverse backgrounds. The department also oversees a residency training program and will be part of a Neuroscience Institute initiative.
