Staten Island, NY is looking for a strong
Food Service Director.

SALARY:
Up To $105K per year (Depending on Experience)

Qualifications:

Must have experience as a Food Service Director in long term care
Must have managerial experience
Comprehensive knowledge of food preparation and handling technique
General knowledge of safety and sanitation rules and practices

Responsibilities:

Directs the purchasing, receiving, storing and preparing of food and related products
Creating the menu, developing recipes, and overseeing kitchen staff, operations, inventory, DOH regulations compliance and orders
Responsible for training, planning, assigning, and directing work, evaluating performance, rewarding, and disciplining associates
Properly opens the Food Service on shift assigned
Schedules department working hours, personnel, and work assignments to maintain quality service
Interviews, hires, and trains associates and maintains excellent relationships with clients
Develops, manages, and maintains food service policies and procedures
