    Description

    An early stage, seed funded start up based in New York is seeking a Principal Machine Learning Engineer to join their team.

    The platform relies on an advanced recommendation system to allow users to discover and share travel and dining destinations with their network and friends.

    Reporting directly to the Founder, you will be working with a team that is advised by technical leaders at some of the world's top companies making advances in AI and Machine Learning.

    Responsibilities

    • Build and optimize recommendation models, leveraging both traditional ML techniques and LLMs.
    • Provide hands on development of ML platform using Python
    • Closely collaborate alongside product, design, and growth to further expand the platform

    Experience

    • 4+ years of experience with machine learning models and tools
    • Experience working on recommendation models and can drive personalization
    • Have previous direct exposure to Large Language Models
    • Demonstrated experience with a variety of tools such as Python, Tensorflow, Keras, Panda, Pytorch, and Jupyter

    This full time salaried position is a hybrid role based in NYC.
