As they continue to grow, they're seeking a dynamic individual to lead their Health, Safety, and Environmental initiatives in their Boston, Lincolnshire site.

Key Responsibilities:
Policy Development and Implementation:
Develop, review, and implement health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and reflect our commitment to excellence.
Training and Guidance:
Provide expert direction, advice, training, and guidance to employees on environment and H&S issues, fostering a culture of safety and wellbeing.
Strategic Leadership:
Lead strategic ESG initiatives aimed at achieving long-range targets, influencing site leadership teams, and bringing HSE matters to the attention of the Board of Directors.
Compliance and Audits:
Ensure compliance with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards, coordinate certification efforts, and conduct routine monitoring and audits of H&S systems.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Liaise with site managers, regulatory bodies, and trade unions, effectively communicating company initiatives and fostering positive relationships.
Development and Training:
Proactively seek development opportunities, attend training courses, and establish a program of health and safety training to meet evolving needs.
Reporting and Improvement:
Advise on incidents reportable under RIDDOR, highlight areas for improvement, and bring new techniques for enhancing health, safety, and welfare to the attention of the leadership team.
Experience and Qualifications:
Relevant industry qualification in Health & Safety or 3-5 years' experience in a similar role.
Experience implementing and managing ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 certificated Management Systems.
NEBOSH
Diploma/Certificate.
Excellent communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead, influence, and drive change at all levels.
Sound knowledge of Environmental Health & Safety legislation.
Trained in IOSH Audit techniques (desirable).
Familiarity with the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER) (desirable).
