- Safety Policy Development: Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety policies and procedures tailored to the specific hazards and risks associated with HVAC, piping, and duct work in residential construction.
- Safety Training and Education: Plan, conduct, and oversee safety training programs for all personnel involved in the mechanical construction process, including onboarding, ongoing refresher courses, and specialized training for unique tasks or equipment.
- Compliance Monitoring: Regularly monitor and evaluate the contractor's safety practices to ensure compliance with relevant local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry safety standards (e.g., OSHA, NFPA, ASME).
- Proven experience as a Safety Manager with a General Contractor or Sub contractor.
- Familiarity with MEP systems including HVAC, Piping, Duct work, electrical, and framing
- OSHA 500 Certification (Required)
- CSP Certification (Preferred)
- Great Communication skills
- The ability to identify risk, track progress, and report incidents to Leadership
