- To teach skills by assisting a lead instructor with planned programs at a level appropriate for each participant in the program.

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The Teen Program Assistant at the YMCA of the Greater Tri-Valley serves others by intentionally welcoming, connecting, and supporting them and inviting them to get involved and give back to the community. The Teen Assistant will support the Teen Program Coordinator with the YMCA Virtual Learning Program for Rome Free Academy students. The individual will assist the students with class work when applicable, take attendance, be a mentor, and plan activities for them during free time.
