    Description

    Gratitude Homecare is searching for a Client Services Associate to join our team and create personalized care plans for our clients. The Personal Assistant is a professional, providing visitation, support and companionship in the home for clients. Services include support, encouragement, companionship, breaks for family.

    You will work directly with patients and their families to improve their quality of life. Errands such as, but not limited to, accompanying to appointments, scheduling appointments, home organization, decluttering, food shopping, social outings, driving, etc.

    You may also be responsible for short check ins, home safety, pets, and nutrition.

    Occupational Exposure Category:

    C: No exposure to blood borne pathogens

    Qualifications:

    • At least one year working as a Personal Assistant or life experience working
    • Effective interpersonal communication skills and ability to exercise good judgement
    • Use of an automobile with possession or liability insurance is desirable
    • Must be able to read, write in English and follow instructions
    • Selected on the basis of such favors as: an interest in people, tact, a history of emotional stability, dependability in employment, neatness and appearances and practices, good personal hygiene, and good judgement
    • Proven work experience as a Care Manager or similar role
    • Written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent Organizational Skills
    • Ability to travel locally
    • valid Drivers License

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide assistance with reading and writing correspondence and publications
    • Observation and feedback to responsible party
    • Keeps and accurate time and milage report
    • Follows assignments and regulations
    • Wears appropriate clothing and ID badge while at work
    • Some after hour networking events
    • Meeting with appropriate staff within Assisted Livings and Nursing Homes
    • Maintaining professional relationships with colleagues within the industry

    Functional Abilities:

    • Must be able to stoop and bend
    • Must be able to travel to prospective clients place of residence
    • Must be able to hear and effectively communicate in English
