      Exciting opportunity for a full time entry level maintenance technician.
    Eilleen's will provide hands on training No experience necessary*JOB DESCRIPTIONSummary/Objectives The ideal candidate for the maintenance technician will be willing to learn how to how to perform general building maintenance and ensure that equipment is running properly in a timely and safe manner.

    Essential FunctionsEnsure that all maintenance tasks are performed in a safe manner in accordance with Eillien's Candies safety policiesTrouble shoot machines and equipment that are not functioning properlyPerform preventative maintenance on equipment within the plantDocument work performed in a timely mannerRespond to various request to help rebuild or repair equipmentWill assist with general building maintenance both interior and exterior such as:

    light plumbing, light electrical, painting and patchwork, grounds keeping, and other duties as assignedQualificationsCompetenciesMust have a valid driver licenseMust apply food safety and employee safety guidelines in all performance measuresMust be willing to learn to trouble shoot various equipment and machines within a production and manufacturing environmentMust have the ability to switch gears very quickly based upon job demandsMust be familiar with computers and have basic data entry skillsMust have the ability to bend, stoop, twist, turn, work in tight or confined spaces as well as stand throughout the duration of the shiftMust be able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basisSupervisory ResponsibilityThis position has no supervisory responsibilityWork EnvironmentFrequently exposed to loud noises, machinery, and powered equipment.

    Temperature controlled environment. At time may need to work in environments that require additional safety precautions that require communication with other departments.

    Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.

    Must be able to stand, bend, twist, and lift up to 50 lbs. or more with assist if needed on a regular basis. Will be required to follow all Food Safety and OSHA requirements with anything requiring physicality. Must be able to crawl in smaller spaces, or lower levels.

    Must be able to sit at a computer desk and complete paperwork which requires the ability to type and use a cell phone, or land phonePosition Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position.

    Full time hour schedule is subject to change with or without notice. Mandatory or voluntary overtime may be required to meet business needs.

    TravelLocal travel will may be required Must maintain valid driver licenseEducation, Skills and ExperienceMust have a minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent desired but not requiredPrefer at least 2 years of recent maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment, food is a plusCertifications in related fields are preferred but not required EEO StatementEillien's Candies, Inc.
