H&H Graphics DBA Pull to Win Products is seeking a digital press operator, primarily for our Konica Minolta C6100 and KM1-E presses.

May include formatting and proofing electronic text and images submitted by designers and clients into finished pages that can be output on the C6100 or KM1-E machine.

• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures and conducts self in accordance with core values.
• Perform duties as assigned by Supervisor.
• Understand machine capabilities to program, adjust and achieve optimum print quality.
• Perform a preflight check of electronic materials and identify any problems before readying the job for output.
• Correct or note any font/text flow problems, curving, bleed, trapping, and sizing issues.
• Provide feedback to supervisor, Customer Service or Graphic Designer regarding quality of electronic materials provided and any identified concerns.
• Examine job orders to determine quantities to be printed, stock specifications, or special output instructions.
• Create and upload electronic files to the RIP system and complete a quality check of the pages.
• Proficiently use and manipulate computer software in a prepress/digital press environment having to do with digital production control, page imposition, production queues and output.
• Perform routine maintenance.
• Collect and inspect random samples during digital output to identify any necessary adjustments.
• Track stock and machine consumables and request replacement materials be ordered as needed.
• Perform machine adjustments accurately, efficiently and according to procedures.
• Meet strict production deadlines while maintaining quality work.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong understanding of all print production processes and capabilities (print, bindery, finishing, pack out, delivery)
• At least two years of experience operating digital printing equipment (Konica Minolta KM1 experience is a plus but not required).
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of handling printready files
• Technically and mechanically oriented
