Job Summary
Description
We are seeking a Licensed Psychologist to conduct medical assessments on U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits evaluation process.
As part of the Disability Assessments, you will electronically review behavioral health records via a secure Web Portal and conduct a thorough evaluation in person for each Veteran.
You will also fill out Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the Web Portal.
The Licensed Psychologist DOES NOT determine disability status. The U.S. Veterans Administration handles all disability determinations, partly based on the findings documented in the DBQs.
This position SOLELY involves conducting Disability Assessments on Veterans. You will NOT provide treatment or prescribe medication in this role.
Licensed Psychologists will assess and review an average of 3 (occasionally 4) Veterans per day.
Licensed Psychologists will be engaged as Independent Contractors
Schedule- One Day a Week (8 am-5 pm)
This role is ON-SITE.
