Job Overview
Description
We are seeking a Licensed Psychologist to conduct medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
When conducting Disability Assessments, you will electronically review behavioral health records via a secure Web Portal and conduct a thorough assessment in person for each Veteran.
You will also fill out Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the Web Portal.
The Licensed Psychologist WILL NOT determine disabilities. The U.S. Veterans Administration makes all disability determinations, partly based on the findings documented in the DBQs.
This role SOLELY performs Disability Assessments on Veterans. There will be NO treatment or medication prescription involved in this position.
The Licensed Psychologist will assess and evaluate an average of 3 (sometimes 4) Veterans per day.
The Licensed Psychologist will be engaged as an Independent Contractor.
Schedule- One Day per Week (8 am-5 pm)
This is an IN-PERSON position.
