Statements of Purpose
The housekeeper is responsible for the cleanliness of the facility and for providing clients assistance in basis housekeeping tasks


Major Task, Duties and Responsibilities

• Vacuuming all carpeted areas
• Mopping all floorsmop head changed daily
• Ensures that clean linen will be stored separately from soiled linen
• Ensures that soiled linen containers will be labeled "soiled linen"
• Bathrooms cleaned and disinfected daily
• Dusting will be done at least once per week
• Empties trash daily
• Other specific cleaning duties as assigned by the Director of Operations

Skills, Knowledge and Competencies Required

• Ability to communicate clearly with supervisor, staff and clients
• Ability to take direction and instruction from supervisor
• Ability to clean effectively and efficiently

Minimum Qualifications
Specific qualifications may vary based on assignment.
- __ Must be at least 18 years of age
- __ Experience in a healthcare facility preferred
- __ Class "C" Driver's License (if driving for company), otherwise, will need Photo ID
- __ CPR/First Aid certification required, obtain upon employment and maintain current thereafter
- __ Criminal Background Clearance required
- __ Health Screen required
- __ Negative TB Test Results required
- __ Develop computer skills adequate to perform word processing duties upon employment

Vision, hearing, manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination must be adequate for performance of job duties. Able to sit at a desk, use keyboard, write and physically perform other job duties. Able to move about the facility to observe clients and staff.
